The Elko County School District is Nevada's third largest school district. Under the leadership of our Board of Trustees, Superintendent Jeff Zander, and site administrators, we are committed to high academic standards and achievement for all of our students.

Our Mission

Elko County School District promotes a culture of high academic achievement of its students, encourages high performance standards of its employees, and continually strives to maintain a climate in which all students can learn at high levels in every school.

The 28th Annual Elko County Science Fair will be held March 15-18 at the Elko Convention Center. An awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 18, at 5:30 p.m. at the Elko Convention Center.

 

 

March STARS of the Month

Santos Jacobo was honored as the March Classified STARS of the Month. Santos is a custodian at Spring Creek Middle School. He received a $50 gift certificate to WalMart.

STARS, Staff and Teachers Achieving Results for Students, is an employee recognition program supported 100% through private donations. Thank you to General Moly, Elko Federal Credit Union, and KENV-TV, Channel 10, for their support of this program.
